Enjoy the atmosphere in Eersel - Eersel is the municipality of the Eight Glories (Acht Zaligheden), the Pearls, the area of the Kleine Beerze river, the extensive Cartierheide area of natural beauty, but there is also more than enough to do for those who like active experiences!

Walking & Cycling
Eersel is a walking and cycling paradise on the Belgian border (just below Eindhoven) and winner of the title ‘Walking Municipality of the Year’ in 2014. We won this title thanks to the hundreds of kilometres of walking and cycle paths, the walking route app, the good facilities, and the welcoming outdoor cafés where you can finish the route by enjoying a Kempisch Kwartierke or some tasty bar snacks.

Leisure
The municipality of Eersel offers plenty of opportunities for exercise and relaxation. Jump as high as you can at Jump XL, go out and about with The Contented Man at 't Rundal Pig Museum or ride through the woods on beautiful horses. There’s definitely no risk of being bored in Eersel! There’s always something to do: discover the cheerful annual markets with different stalls, have wild adventures at the fair, or experience the authentic Brabant carnival. In other words, there’s plenty to do in Eersel for young and old, big and small!
A distinctive community - People have been living and working in this area for more than 3000 years; that gives us a rich history!
Eersel is a community that celebrates its history, but also has an eye to the future. The municipality can be proud of its cultural heritage, remarkable buildings, picturesque village streets and landscapes. And like many other villages, Eersel is also developing rapidly. Hence we are encouraging employment and tourism, care about the environment, and love culture. In other words, the Pearl of the Kempen offers very contented living!
