In Eersel you can pedal straight across the Cartierheide nature reserve towards Postel, cycle to the fantastic Groot- en Kleinmeer lakes between Vessem and Winterle, or ride to the burial mounds in Knegsel. Eersel has a rich history with many local stories and legends such as the Eight Glories (Acht Zaligheden), the Pedlars, the Contented Man and the Myth of the Herbalist.
